Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 2, 2026
Noree (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. Noree is currently designed as a private, on-device focus and daily task app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Noree mobile application.
1. Information We Currently Collect
At this time, Noree does not require users to create an account and does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, photos, or messages.
Your tasks, focus sessions, completed tasks, timer preferences, focus sounds, daily reset activity, and productivity-related information are currently stored locally on your device and are used only to provide the app’s features.
2. On-Device Data
Noree is currently designed so that your focus and task data stays on your device. This may include:
- Tasks you create
- Completed tasks
- Focus session history
- Timer settings
- Focus sound preferences
- Daily wins or productivity summaries
- App preferences
This information is not currently sent to our servers and is not used to personally identify you.
3. How Noree Uses On-Device Data
Noree uses on-device data only to make the app work, including:
- Showing your daily task list
- Running focus timers
- Saving your focus preferences
- Showing completed tasks and daily wins
- Resetting the day for a fresh start
- Creating positive productivity summaries or momentum notes
- Improving your personal app experience on your own device
4. Future Optional Features
In the future, Noree may introduce optional features such as accounts, cloud sync, backup, multi-device access, or personalized user experience improvements.
If these features are added, Noree may need to collect or process limited information necessary to provide those features, such as account details, synced task data, focus history, app preferences, or device-related information.
Any future data collection will be limited to what is needed to provide and improve those features. This Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are introduced.
5. No Selling or Tracking
Noree does not sell personal data.
Noree does not track users across other apps or websites.
Noree does not use personal information for advertising.
6. Subscriptions and Purchases
If Noree offers paid features, subscriptions, free trials, or lifetime purchases, those transactions are handled securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store full payment card information. Apple may provide limited purchase or subscription status so the app can unlock premium features.
7. Analytics and Crash Data
Noree currently does not collect analytics or crash reporting data that personally identifies users.
If analytics or crash reporting tools are introduced in the future, they will be used to improve app reliability and user experience, and this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what is collected and how it is used.
8. Data Security
Because your task and focus data is currently stored on your device, you are responsible for protecting access to your device. We recommend using your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID where available.
If future cloud sync or account features are introduced, we will use reasonable safeguards to help protect information processed through those features.
9. Data Deletion
Because Noree currently stores task and focus data locally on your device, you can delete this data by deleting tasks inside the app, resetting app data if available, or uninstalling the app from your device.
Uninstalling Noree may permanently delete local app data unless your device or Apple system settings keep a backup.
If future account or cloud sync features are introduced, we will provide a way to request deletion of applicable account or synced data, subject to legal and technical limitations.
10. Children’s Privacy
Noree is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. International Users
Because Noree currently operates primarily on-device, your task and focus data is not intentionally transferred to our servers. Apple’s App Store services may process purchase-related information according to Apple’s own policies.
If future cloud-based features are introduced, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where data protection laws may differ from the user’s jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. If we introduce features that involve collecting or syncing user data, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those changes.
